Wife Killed After Changing Facebook Relationship Status to ‘Single’
A man in Staffordshire killed his wife after she changed her status on Facebook from married to single and refused to return his messages.
Edward Richardson, 41, was found guilty of Sarah Ricahrdson's murder in May 2008 today. According to the prosecution, he became enraged after he saw Sarah had changed her status and went to confront her.
Sarah, a hairdresser in Sandbach, was stabbed to death at her parents' house in Brown Lees.
